Identity
Bet0 doesn't remember who he was. When he meets someone identical to himself, the question stops being the case: is it a clone, an experiment, a beta version?
A city where bodies get upgraded, memory is up for trade, and the dead leave traces on the network. And one case that throws it all into doubt.
Taking you in is doing you a favor. Someday you'll have to repay it.
Wrapped in a mysterious past —he remembers nothing of his life before adolescence—, Bet0 and his best friend Kunak, an old techno-medium and keeper of the XANTAF3 bar, build a community on one sacred rule: "we take you in and do you a favor, but you must repay it the moment it's asked of you, no questions, no hesitation".
So XANTAF3 becomes an underworld of connections —invaluable when the impossible cases arrive. The game explores several subplots, with different investigations and endings depending on each player's choices. But this time, everything revolves around a single enigma.
Droza was the CEO of the colossal space-mining company UWA. He died fifteen years ago, but his death was kept secret: his consciousness had been transferred to a machine. His spiritual algorithm kept running the company successfully, turning it into the leader of its sector.
One stormy night, his presence vanished from the system. Was he stolen? Murdered? Industrial sabotage? Lucrecia, Cisco's daughter, approaches Bet0 to help with the investigation… or perhaps to stop it. The fate of the city depends on what you choose to believe.
"Can you call it murder if the person was already dead?"
Bet0 doesn't remember who he was. When he meets someone identical to himself, the question stops being the case: is it a clone, an experiment, a beta version?
If consciousness can be copied, sold, and inherited, what's left of a person? Death stops being an ending and becomes editable data.
Dangers, betrayals, and revelations. Every discovery pulls the strings of a corporation, a neighborhood, and a community that gave you shelter.
The fate of Bogotá, of the XANTAF3 community, and of Bet0 will depend on your choices.
